Over the past year, I've seen Saudin's abilities and talent grow more then I even thought capable. In many ways, although at a much smaller scale, I drew parallels to myself in his work ethic. How he works quietly without any sort of recognition, for extended periods of time, and truly believes in his music; what he's most passionate about, above all other noise. With the vision and direction of the very talented Maria Bokhari, I was able to publish this editorial with Saudin in order to share with others an insight into his creative mind.

Why love as the emotion to inspire your music?

Love is Music. Music is love.

Love is Music. Music is love.

Do you need emotion to create art?

Of course, why else would you make art if your art isn’t made with love and emotions.

What does expressing emotion in your music do for you personally?

It’s a way for me to get everything off my chest. It’s my journal. It’s my therapy.

By expressing your emotions so openly, what do you want you resonate with your fans?

I want people to know that music aside we as humans all have feelings and emotions and we all go through things. We grow. I want people to use my music as therapy, as I do.

What’s missing in music today?

 Soul(s)

Soul(s)

How does your sound fill that gap?

Its new and completely different, yet it’s nostalgic and takes the listener to a time in their life when they were the happiest.

In an industry and culture where everything is replacable and short term, how do you stay relevant?

Staying true to yourself and to not having an ego. Eggos are fine though. Especially the chocolate chip ones.

What's your perspective on what loveclosely represents?

It’s about spreading love and just treating everyone you meet along your journey with love and respect.

What part of it resonates with you?

 I’m a good guy. I always loveclosely.
